Details There are currently 520 pastoral leases that utilise one third of Western Australia’s land area for grazing purposes, making pastoralism the biggest land use industry in the State.
This seminar will examine all facets of pastoral leases including what are they, who can grant them and the restrictions and conditions placed upon them and the issues that may be encountered by lessees. The functions and powers of the Pastoral Lands Board will also be explored along with the penalties imposed on breaches of lease conditions.
