Professional Development Executive

The Law Society of Western Australia, the peak body for the legal profession in Western Australia, is seeking a professional with experience in developing professional development programs. The role is diverse and you will be a project leader with accountability for a portfolio of events.

Key aspects of the role include: 
 
  • Oversee the management of all professional development events including budgets, cost control and administrative tasks; 
  • Identify and conduct in-depth research with key industry leaders with regard to potential topics; 
  • Conduct market research and program development for conferences, workshops and seminars; 
  • Secure speakers from the highest echelons of the legal community; 
  • Copywriting of event literature including brochures, marketing letters and promotional materials ; 
  • Communicating with speakers, members of the Law Society and various key committees to ensure the delivery of quality learning events.

To be successful in this position it is envisioned you will have a legal background and be a motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability in the development and management of professional development events preferably in the legal sector. An attractive remuneration package is offered to attract the right person.
