Law Office Management Committee

The Law Office Management Committee (LOM) is made up Office Managers, Practice Managers , Librarians, Knowledge Managers and Human Resource Managers. The committee looks at the issues affecting the running of a law office in Western Australia and determining ways to overcome challenges.
Committed to the promotion and enhancement of professional law office management through further education, networking and resources, the committee works with the ethos of sharing knowledge, experience and solutions.
Projects that the LOM Committee organise are:
- Educational seminars for office management and support staff within the profession
- Annual Salary Survey for Practice Managers and Human Resource Managers
- Networking events for law office professionals
- Biennial Law Office Expo
- Biennial Outstanding Contribution Award for Support Staff
- the Law Office Management Directory
Law office management personnel are eligible to be associate members of the Society. Persons employed in a managerial capacity in a legal practice or government department or oganisation are eligible to apply. The Law Office Management Committee comments on administration of law offices and provides seminars to non-legal professional and administrative staff.
