ADR is no longer just “vanilla” facilitative mediation.

ADR is a suite of sophisticated techniques to be deployed to maximise the effectiveness of the process in light of the particular circumstances of the dispute and the relationship between the parties.

This seminar will consider:

• techniques and processes in arbitration to expedite resolution and avoiding unnecessary time and expense;
• dispute resolution boards underpinning the contractual framework, pre-empting or minimising the escalation of disputes and preserving the relationship between the parties; and
• Arb/med and med/arb – flexible processes which combine the best of the facilitative and determinative elements and empower the parties to identify the issues and settle disputes.
