This informative seminar, chaired by the Honourable Justice Kenneth Martin, will cover the practical operation and effect of the Building Act 2011 (WA) and related legislation on neighbourhood building disputes.

GiGi Visscher will focus on the provisions in the Building Act relevant to the obligations of builders and others to neighbouring properties.

While Rob Shaw will focus on the rights of people under the Building Act who have disputes with their own builder.

This seminar will wrap up with an open panel discussion by our experienced speakers and Building Commission representatives who will help demystify the operation of the Building Act.
