This seminar by Linda Widdup, Lawyer and Consultant will discuss developments in the Personal Property Security Act 2009.  It will address recent PPSA case law and discuss the courts’ interpretation of various provisions of the PPSA including:

(a) the scope of the concept of “security interest”

(b) priority rules and priority between PPSA security interest and property interest arising by operation of law;

(c) rules relating to enforceability of security interests;

(d) registration issues; and

(e) enforcement of security interests.
