About the event

Practitioners often comment that they had a gut feeling that the client would be difficult from the outset and wished they had not engaged the client from the outset. Proactively managing clients that do not value your services can reduce your risk of a complaint, professional negligence claim, financial loss and stress.

This session will provide a framework for identifying difficult clients and practical strategies for managing them with the aim of equipping practitioners to better:

  • decide whether to act in the first place;
  • set appropriate boundaries for undertaking the engagement; and
  • confront difficult client behaviours to get the relationship ‘back on track’ or decline or terminate the engagement ethically.

* Seminar will be confirmed as it is subject to the number of registrants.
