This session presented by Dr. Adrian McCullagh Ph.D. (IT Sec) LL.B.(Hons) B. App. Sc. (Computing), will introduce practitioners to the legal issues and litigation strategies with Non-Fungible Tokens (‘NFTs’).

NFTs  have recently gained a lot of discuss in the Press.  This presentation will explain what NFTs are and how they have gained value by certain sectors of the general public.  In addition, NFTs are now being used as technology in substituted service application.  The presentation will discuss two court cases on how NFTs have been utilised in ransomware attacks in the service of court documents.
