eLearning: Appearing in SAT

Appearing in SAT comprises of three elements:
– An overview of the operation of the State Administrative Tribunal with reference to practical questions such as the onus of proof; the standard of proof; and general procedures
– Specific attention paid to the way in which the State Administrative Tribunal deals with expert evidence, conferral of witnesses and concurrent evidence, and how this is viewed by experts and practitioners
– Recent case law and important decisions arising from the respective jurisdictions of the State Administrative Tribunal considered
A senior practitioner who regularly appears in the State Administrative Tribunal joins Dr De Villiers to comment and add perspectives to what has been said.
This seminar is aimed at a wide spectrum of practitioners, including those who have not appeared in the State Administrative Tribunal and those who appear regularly.
