This seminar is also being delivered via webinar.
In this seminar, Grahame Young, Barrister, Francis Burt Chambers, will deliver his paper, ‘Ending Trusts’.
Trusts may be nearing the end of their life because the perpetuity period is about to expire or because they no longer serve any useful purpose.
Bringing a trust to an end may appear simple: realise the assets, or enough of them to satisfy the liabilities, and distribute what is left to the chosen beneficiaries.
This presentation will focus on the host of trust law, taxation, practical and administrative issues involved in ensuring a clean exit, including consideration of any documents required or desirable.
