About the event

Bookings are now closed.

This seminar is also available as a webinar.

Lawyers will often be asked to attend company meetings and also, at times, to act as directors of their client companies.

This seminar will focus on the law, practice and procedure of meetings for both shareholder and creditors meetings.

Practical tips will be provided on how to deal with problem areas such as the formalities of convening meetings, drafting and amendments to resolutions, the proper conduct of meetings, who can attend meetings and who can appoint a proxy.

This seminar will also focus on lawyers acting as directors of their client companies and the potential conflict and ethical issues arising from such appointments and how best to avoid to them.
