Are you a young lawyer wanting to give back to your community but are unsure where to start?

The Law Society’s Young Lawyers Committee is raising awareness about how  young lawyers can contribute in the pro-bono sphere by celebrating the invaluable work undertaken by Law Access.

Law Access is a not-for-profit organisation that coordinates the provision of the pro bono legal assistance by the Western Australian legal profession.

The evening will include discussion and commentary about the work of Law Access and how you can get involved in pro-bono work generally.

You will hear from:

  • Greg McIntyre SC, President of The Law Society of Western Australia
  • Dominique Hansen, Chief Executive Officer of Law Access
  • Greg Mohen, Partner, Kott Gunning Lawyers and former Law Access pro-bono referral coordinator.
  • Richa Malaviya, PLT Placement at Law Access

This event is hosted by Kott Gunning Lawyers with refreshments provided for attendees on the night.

This event is FREE to attend and open to all young lawyers and law students with an interest in pro-bono work. However, numbers are limited.
