The Edith Cowan University Security Research Institute together with the Law Society have partnered to undertake a cyber security awareness and knowledge survey of Law Society members, and develop a series of focused intervention seminars to be delivered during 2017/18 to enable firms to utilise existing tools and freely available robust software to create secured and resilient business systems. The first in this series, this seminar introduces cyber security issues specific to the legal profession and gives attendees the most appropriate tools and techniques to better protect themselves by achieving a lower cyber security risk profile. An adjunct to this will be advice on how best to prepare and respond when you or your firm is a victim of a cyberattack.
