Recent analysis of Law Mutual (WA) claims showed that allegations of conflict of interest and breach of fiduciary duty claims are made in over 20% of claims against smaller practices. In particular, the percentage of conflict allegations in claims was disproportionately higher against practices of up to nine practitioners. This seminar reviews conflict risks faced by smaller practices and provide control examples for mitigating and managing those risks.

For sole practitioners and small practices (up to nine practitioners)
