Imagine a world where, upon noticing we’re not feeling physically or mentally healthy, we express how we’re feeling, and then reach out for the appropriate help. If it’s a mental health issue, many of us are still taking the option of suffering in silence. Mental health issues are common health problems. Many of us have experienced anxiety, depression, stress, grief, or a myriad of other issues. Even if we purport to not experiencing them, it’s likely that we will at some stage of our life.
As a professional, you can ask yourself what you are doing to look after your own mental health. Is your mental health affecting your life, both personally and professionally? Is it limiting your potential? What can you start doing at work and outside of work to look after your own mental health? Our mental health is of the utmost importance, and we need to treat it that way.
This seminar is complimentary for members as part of our LawCare WA wellbeing and resilience programme to mark World Mental Health Day, and includes a light lunch.
