  • The advantages and disadvantages of making a strike out application
  • How bad should a pleading be before one makes an application
  • The steps for doing this, and a sample set of programming orders
  • Management of the common situation where the other side (i.e. the bad pleader) negotiates and agrees to remove the worst parts, but won’t agree to remove the borderline parts
  • The likely delay for the overall matter
  • Any differences between the different courts
  • Usual costs for each of the parties
  • The range of costs orders which are regularly made
