This half-day professional development programme has been specifically designed to share ideas on ethics, business and team management skills for In-house Counsel and Government Lawyers.

Topics covered include:
• Offering business value and building profile
In House Counsel bring unique value to organisations, but it can sometimes be hard for others to see. In this session Sue-Ella will discuss ideas for demonstrating the value both you and your teams bring to doing business.

• Tension with ethical decision making
Ethical decision making is always changing. This session will bring the current challenges to life in a series of interactive scenarios.

• Managing a multi generational team
Teamwork is what makes professionals thrive under pressure but building a high performing team isn’t easy. In this session Ali will explore the latest research on what makes multi-generational teams thrive under pressure.

Bill Keane

Formerly a litigation partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Bill commenced at the Bar in 2011. Bill has appeared as counsel in a range of commercial disputes including matters concerning contracts, intellectual property, employment law, competition and consumer law issues. He frequently appears in regulatory enforcement proceedings, including matters involving alleged contraventions of the Australian Consumer Law, Competition and Consumer Act and the Corporations Act. Bill has lectured in Competition Law at UWA and is a faculty member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He also serves on the council of the Royal Agricultural Society.
