With the introduction of its WHS Act, Western Australia has signalled its intention to deal with work health and safety law in ways consistent with most other jurisdictions. This session examines what practitioners in Western Australia can take from the approach of other States’ under the model Act, both with respect to dealing with the regulator during an investigation and representing clients in a prosecution.
