Taking the mystery out of law for students
Increase student awareness of the law, legal principles and the court system in Western Australia, with a visit from a Western Australian legal professional.
The visits provide an exciting opportunity for students and teachers to engage with the legal profession.
Volunteer lawyers visit schools free of charge and present to students on a topic requested by the teacher.
Fill out the expression of interest form overleaf and the Programme will circulate your request to Law Society members. Please note that while the Programme will do its best to coordinate a volunteer to visit the school, guarantees one will be available cannot be given.
Lawyer visits to schools is an initiative of the Law Society and is coordinated by the Francis Burt Law Education Programme.
Cost: Free
Availability: Visits are available throughout the academic year, subject to the availability of a volunteer.
