In partnership with Murdoch University Law School, Mock Trial Competition students have the opportunity to participate in an annual seminar and workshop training event. At this event, students can develop their advocacy skills and build confidence in public speaking. It is also a chance to meet students from other schools with common interests.
The Seminar commences with a presentation on trial advocacy, tailored to the format of the Mock Trial Competition. Then, students participate in workshops focused on trial advocacy concepts and putting those concepts into practice. The workshops are led by law students from Murdoch University’s Moot Court Bench and are participant focused and interactive in nature.
Participation in the Mock Trial Competition Training Seminar and Workshop is free for Mock Trial Competition students.
