There is lots to explore at the Museum. Our collection of over 2000 items captures the social and cultural significance focusing on all periods and systems of law that have been part of Western Australia’s history including Aboriginal, British and Australia. The Old Court House building itself has a fascinating history, being at one time the largest public building in Perth and a clear representation of the supremacy of British Law. Today the oldest building in the city of Perth, it has big stories to share.
