Nominations are open for the 2022 Lawyer of the Year Awards which will be presented at The Law Society Gala Dinner on Friday, 30 September 2022.
The Law Society of Western Australia invites members of the Western Australian legal profession to submit entries to the 2022 Law Society Lawyer of the Year Awards.
Law Society members are invited to nominate a worthy recipient in the categories of Lawyer of the Year (more than five years’ experience) and Emerging Lawyer of the Year (less than five years’ experience).
Criteria
- The nominee has made a contribution over and above what might be reasonably expected through paid legal employment
- The nominee has made a particularly noteworthy contribution to the Western Australian legal profession
- The person is an outstanding example to the legal profession
- The nominee does not need to be a Law Society member but they must give their consent and have been practising in Western Australia.
Announcing a New Event to Present the Lawyer of the Year Awards 2022
The Law Society is excited to announce a spectacular Gala Dinner on Friday, 30 September at the Crown Towers to present the annual Law Society Lawyer of the Year Awards. The event will also feature the announcement of the Attorney General’s Community Service Awards to create a wonderful evening of public recognition and legal profession celebration.
