The Law Society of Western Australia is seeking to appoint a 0.6 (3 days per week) Administration Officer for a one year contract.

The Society welcomes applications for the role from graduates in law from an Australian university who are yet to complete their PLT and find employment in a law practice. This role provides the following opportunities:

  • The opportunity to develop administration skills and stakeholder engagement in a professional services environment
  • Be involved with delivering services for the peak professional body of the legal profession in Western Australia
  • Have exposure and access to a range of activities such as continuing professional development seminars, professional events, advocacy and policy activities

You will be part of a high-functioning team providing pivotal support to dynamic, fast-paced professional development and events delivery services for the Society. If you have energy, drive and commitment to growth and need the licence to be proactive in realising ideas and initiatives, this part-time position is for you. You will have the support of a great team of people, and be provided with the opportunity to make a positive contribution.

If the successful candidate is a law graduate from an Australian university seeking a volunteer PLT placement, the Society will help the officer facilitate a placement at Law Access Ltd. The Law Society anticipates the successful applicant will complete their PLT during the 2 days per week they are not working at the Society.
