Reception/Administration Officer

The Law Society of Western Australia is the peak professional association representing the legal profession across the State. We are seeking an energetic and positive person with excellent communication skills to join our team as Receptionist/Administration Officer.  We are seeking an experienced individual, who takes pride in their work and is well presented. Reporting to the Administration and Facilities Coordinator, your role will include:

  • Providing a friendly, efficient and professional front desk reception;
  • Providing referral advice to members of the public regarding the legal services of the Society and its members;
  • Assisting with data entry in the CRM, including updating membership details and processing event registrations and post event administration;
  • Providing assistance with catering, setting up for seminars, meetings and functions;
  • General administrative duties including typing, photocopying and filing for the Corporate Services and Executive Team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Well-developed organisation skills;
  • A strong customer service focus;
  • Strong administration skills, including professional telephone manner;
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated time management;
  • Knowledge and experience in use of Microsoft products;
  • Experience with Campaign Monitor/MailChimp) and/or website content management systems will be highly desirable;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
